Connecting People to Jesus Christ and Each Other.
As [Jesus] was walking along the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, since they were fishermen. “Follow Me,” He told them, “and I will make you fish for people!” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. (Matthew 4:18-20)
...Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Above everything else, we believe we must be about connecting people to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and we believe that we must be about connecting people to intentional discipleship relationships with others! If we are not doing this, we are not doing what we are called to do! This vision is at the core of who we are, and it directs what we are about.
