Missions

Then [Jesus] said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the all creation..."

Mark 16:15

"...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 1:8b

Our purpose in Connecting People to Jesus Christ and Each Other  is not confined to the boundaries of our church or city, state or country. Rather, we believe that our mission is to be engaged in taking the gospel to all parts of the country and world.

Below you will find information on the missions we financially support here at NCC.
Roughly 10% of all funds given to NCC are given to missions.

Highlighted Mission of the Quarter

Have a cup of coffee and support missions!

Every three months, we take all proceeds from the coffee shop donations and donate those funds to a highlighted mission.   These funds are above and beyond our regular missions giving.

Current Mission of the Quarter:
New Hope for the World

New Hope for the World engages ministry in Pakistan to encourage, equip, train, and educate individuals with life skills and the love of Christ!
For more information see the Missions toolbox in the foyer.

Dr. Brett & Evelyn Miller - Mission eSwatini

Brett and Evelyn work with Zion Bible College of eSwatini, Africa, as it equips leaders within the amaZioni churches, to teach the pure Word of God. Many amaZioni have syncretistic beliefs, not because they have chosen a lie, but because they have not had access to the truth. ZBC enrollment is over 1,000. Evelyn works in administration. Brett teaches and preaches, particularly among the Jerichos.

NCC is honored to be the sending/home church to Brett and Evelyn.  Before leaving for eSwatini, they both were heavily involved in serving and leadership.

Feed A Family - Food Bags for Laramie County

Feed a Family exists to help those in our community in need of food. This program is fully supported and paid for by members of North Christian Church.  Feed a Family started in October of 2016 handing out 20 bags of food each month.   Since that time, this ministry has grown to handing out 50 bags each month, and has partnered with the Salvation Army in Cheyenne to help reach those in need. Currently bags are distributed between Pine Bluffs and Cheyenne, Wyoming trough the partnership with the Salvation Army's mobile food pantry.

If you are interested in supporting this program, please designate Feed A Family on your donation to NCC. Individual bags cost $25 per month. Volunteers can also help collect the food, build bags, deliver the bags, track items and show up to help distribute to both Pine Bluffs and South High School in Cheyenne. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the church office.
