Volunteer With Us!

A great way to connect with Jesus and other believers is to volunteer in ministry!  These opportunities give us the chance to be the hands and feed of Jesus to others, both inside and out of this church building!
What are you passionate about? Where are you skilled at?   Do you have a desire to serve in a specific area?
Volunteering and serving in ministry puts action behind the growth that Christ is doing in our lives.

Worship Teams

The 9 & 11am worship teams both welcome those interested in singing and/or playing instruments to help lead attenders in worship of God. 

Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry is offered during the 11am Sunday service, for children birth thru 6th grade.  There are many ways to be involved in this ministry to help disciple and set a foundation of faith in children's lives. Click here to learn more about Children's Ministry.

Student Ministry

There are multiple opportunities to help build and grow faith in the lives of teens 7th thru 12th grade.  Students currently meet on Sunday afternoons. 

Feed a Family - Food Bag Distribution

Assist in packing and distributing food bags to families in need in our community. Food bags are packed and distributed once a month.  Click here to find out more about Feed a Family.

Connections

Be involved with greeting and connecting with new and regular attenders of NCC.  Connections volunteers greet, provide information and track attendance of those attending Sunday services. 

Van Rides

For those unable to transport themselves, NCC provides rides to both services via our church van.   Assisting in this ministry involves picking up and dropping off individuals before and after services. 

Technology

Help facilitate our worship services by operating tech equipment, including the sound system, projection system, or livestream/video recording system.   

Building/Grounds Maintenance

Assist as needed in improving, fixing and maintaining our facility and grounds through repairs, upgrades and remodels, as well as mowing and snow removal. 

Security

Help protect those attending by providing security and medical coverage during both our Sunday services. 

Coffee Shop

The NCC Coffee Shop provides refreshments between services on Sunday mornings, and donations given are passed on to missions around the world working to expand the gospel.  Coffee shop volunteers mix and prepare drinks for those attending. 

Funeral Team

Assist with needs during funerals held at NCC including preparing meals, assisting with service tasks and operating equipment.

How do I volunteer?

How do I volunteer with kids?

Our Children's and Student Ministries are always in need of volunteer! While we want to make volunteering as easy as possible, we also need to ensure our children and youth are protected.   In order to volunteer in these areas, there is an application and background check process required.  Use the form below to learn more and get the process started! 
Are there immediate volunteer needs? 
The following areas are in need of immediate volunteer help:
- Children's Ministry Assistants - Assist in leading Children's Ministry classes for birth through 6th grade children, during the 11am Service.
 - Worship Team Member - Sing or play an instrument in either service.
- Tech Operator - Help operate sound, projection or livestream equipment during one or both service.
 - Coffee Shop Barista - Learn to prepare coffee drinks out of our cafe for those attending services.
 - Building/Grounds Maintenance - Assist in completing building, improvement or repair projects in and out of the building, as well as care for our grounds, including winter snow removal.
